How does the insurance claim process work with Checkmate Roofing & Construction?
We’ll come out to inspect your property and take detailed notes and photos of the damage. We’ll then encourage you to file the claim using the information we provide. Once the insurance company assigns an adjuster, we can be present during their inspection. Our in-house public adjuster can also help ensure you receive the funds needed for complete repairs. We work hand-in-hand with you and the insurance company throughout the process.
What will my insurance company typically cover for roof repairs?
Insurance policies vary, so it depends on your specific coverage. However, some general things that might be covered include Damage caused by wind, hail, fallen trees or branches, fire damage, certain types of animal damage, and other acts of nature. I would refer to your policy handbook.
What documentation do I need to file a roof damage insurance claim?
It’s always a good idea to keep your homeowner’s policy readily accessible. In terms of the claim itself, taking as many photos as possible is key. Document the damage before, during the repairs, and after any repairs are made.

While we can’t file the claim for you directly, we can definitely guide you through the process and work with the insurance adjuster to ensure you get the most out of your policy and the insurance company is satisfied.
